Delft, 28th April 2021 - Justo Jewellery, a custom jewelry company specializing in Fairtrade and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, has announced the collaboration with fashion designer, Toshikazo Iwaya, on a new collection in light of raising awareness of the planet which will be unveiled at Tokyo’s Fashion Week.

Tokyo’s Fashion Week is the place for fashion designers and brands to display their latest collections. Hundreds of fashion brands are here to make that WOW-statement in hopes to impress their audience. Toshikazo Iwaya, one of the most well-known fashion designers in Japan, is one of the few designers that has been succeeding to not only obtain the WOW but even better to make a real impact with a collection.
Takuya Shimamura, CEO of the Japanese Vogue, said, ‘’From time to time the fashion industry undergoes a change. The exact moment when this happens is hard to address but you will know when you know. Constantly, people are looking for new things to wear instead of old-season clothing. They desire fashion that is up-to-date with the world around them. Now you can see people tend to wear more sustainable fashion items. Toshikazo Iwaya has played a big part in this new fashion movement. Each year he succeeds to pull off a new collection with a sustainable eye in mind. He inspires people to be more aware of the planet. It’s because of him more brands and fashion designers started to implement his ideas into their collections since he was the first one to do so. Toshikazo is the new movement leader and we can’t wait what his next collection will bring.’’
The collaboration signifies the message – sustainability is important - both Justo and Toshikazo want to spread into the world. They believe by combining forces with their new collection will increase the chances that more people will join the movement.
On the second day of Tokyo’s Fashion Week, the new collection will be made public. Till then we know it is a line of 8 unique designs – 8 outfits combined each with a unique piece of jewelry – worn by 8 models that represent the theme ‘Join The Sustainability Trend’.
